From €198.50Writing from Almendralejo.
Carter's Copywriting was set up in Almendralejo in 2021. Almendralejo is the wine capital of Extremadura and a long way from the obvious places to run a copywriting business, which is more or less the point.
The work covers website copy, brand voice guides, sales pages, email sequences and long-form content. Most clients are Spanish businesses that need clear, effective writing in English as well as Spanish, or international businesses entering the Spanish market.
Almendralejo has a working character that keeps the copy grounded. The writing here tends to be direct, unpretentious and focused on what actually moves the reader forward, which is what most clients need regardless of sector.
Five steps, no surprises.
A project document goes back and forth to get the scope right. If there is no existing brief, we create one on a 30-minute intake call. The brief defines audience, conversion goal, existing materials and any constraints.
We research how the target reader describes the problem the product or service solves. Competitor copy, customer language, existing reviews. This produces a language brief that informs every word in the draft.
A first complete draft arrives with a strategy note explaining the key decisions. The note covers headline logic, structure choices and any areas where the brief was ambiguous and how we resolved them.
One revision round is included in all packages. Revisions are brief-aligned changes. A change of direction is a scope conversation. Revision notes should be specific and reference the brief where possible.
Final files in agreed format with a terminology note documenting key decisions. For clients with multiple projects, this note builds into a project glossary that ensures consistency across all future copy.
Work that delivered.
Three real projects from Badajoz and Extremadura.

From the clients.
The brief was simple: make the website feel like it was written by someone who actually understands wine. That is exactly what we got.
Healthcare copy is difficult to get right. It needs to be clear without being clinical and reassuring without being dishonest. This hit the mark.
We make excellent products and had a website that you would never know it from. The copy rewrite changed that. The content plan has been running for six months and it works.
Three packages.
Up to 6 pages of website copy plus a brand voice summary.
Up to 3 pages of website copy or one landing page.
Full brand copy system: web, email, social and sales.
What people ask.
01 What is your standard turnaround time? +
Foundation package (up to 3 pages): 5 business days. Standard package (up to 6 pages): 10 business days. Complete package: agreed milestone schedule, typically 4-5 weeks. Rush delivery (48 hours) is available as an add-on for eligible scopes. All timelines start when the brief is complete and we have all required source materials.
02 Do you write in English and Spanish? +
Yes. We write in both English and Spanish. For projects that need content in both languages, each version is written for that language and audience rather than translated. Translated copy has a detectable flatness that does not serve the project well. Bilingual projects are quoted per language version.
03 How does the revision round work? +
One revision round is included in every package. Revisions are changes that bring the copy into alignment with the agreed brief. They are not unlimited rewrites or changes of direction. A revision note that says this section should lead with the guarantee rather than the feature is a revision. A note that says we have decided to target a different audience is a scope change.
04 Can you match our existing tone of voice? +
Yes. If you have existing copy you are happy with, share it as part of the brief. We identify the patterns and replicate them. If you have a formal tone guide, include it. If you have neither and want a consistent voice across the project, consider adding the brand tone document add-on so the copy and the guide are written from the same brief.
05 What do you need from us to start? +
A project brief covering the audience, the offer, the conversion goal and any existing copy or brand materials. If you do not have a brief, the intake call produces one. The more specific you can be about who reads the copy and what you want them to do next, the better the result.
06 What file format do you deliver in? +
Standard delivery is DOCX. We can also deliver in PDF, plain text or Google Docs format. For website copy, documents are structured to match the page and section layout for easy CMS integration. For email copy, we format to match the email platform if you let us know which one you use.
Let's write something that works.
Send a brief or describe the project. We respond same day on working days.
